It's Family Reunion Time

Spring is creeping into summer and with summer comes the “Family Reunion”. Some people love them and look forward to seeing all of those wild and crazy relatives that they only see once a year. Others loathe the get- together and endure them like a toothache. Me, I really enjoy the wide variety of family members that comprise my interesting and peculiar family.

I always enjoy coming up with unique memorabilia for our yearly family reunion. I thought I might share a few ideas with you to help you plan your reunion. One idea is a personalized family reunion mug. You can have them made with the family name, date, and reunion location. You could personalize the mug with a photo of the reunion the year before, or any group family photo you have in your photo collection. Fill it with your favorite candy and present them to your family members as they arrive and check into their hotel room. It is a fun reminder of the event, and everybody can use a new coffee mug.

Another inexpensive idea is personalized photo coasters. They are an inexpensive way to give everyone at the reunion a fun reminder of the day. You can personalize them with a photo or create your own text. Neoprene coasters and hardboard coasters save the table from water spots and bring pleasure as you are reminded of family members you love.

Most family members are dispersed throughout the U.S. these days and traveling to the family reunion is usually part of the bargain. Purchasing personalized luggage bag tags that are personalized with your family reunion information is a creative way to give a reminder of the event. Each bag tag can be personalized with the family member’s name on one side and the family reunion information on the other.
Get creative when you are planning your family reunion. Select a personalized gift that each family member can keep for years to come. Enjoy your summer, and enjoy your family. They are a gift to you.
